Dota 2 corrupt update files

Please excuse me if this is not the correct forum for this, but I can not get a solution almost everywhere.

You watching: Dota 2 corrupt update files

Dota 2 Reborn provided to run flawlessly on my lappeak via Ubuntu 16.04. Ever given that the 7.0 upday of Dota 2, whenever before an update was downloaded, I obtained a "corrupt update files" error. I tried reinstalling it - still acquired the same error. It tries to re-download whenever before I try to play the game.

Next, I tried reinstalling Steam. I deleted Dota, totally removed Steam and then remounted it. Even currently I gain the same error on downloading and install Dota aget.

All other Steam games that I have actually run fine. Dota 2 itself runs perfectly fine on the very same machine on Windows 10.

Has anybody had actually this sort of situation? Any pointer on how to gain around this worry would be helpful - I hate depending upon Windows for gaming.

As
MachinTruc said, the concern was related to truth that Dota was mounted on a NTFS partition (while vapor was on the root ext4 partition). I mounted Dota in a sepaprice ext4 partition and also it works fine now.

This appears to be a regression in Dota 2 update 7.0, as other Steam games work-related fine from the NTFS partition and older versions of Dota 2 operated fine as well.
