Backup jobs deserve to be launched from no less than 3 different places. If you place the highlighter over a things in the Backup Definitions list, then hit the little bit equipment icon, you"ll gain a little drop-dvery own menu which permits you to launch the backup procedure in one of numerous methods. When you"ve done so, the backup will certainly start by displaying an additional home window which basically repeats the task specifications. But, at the bottom, the home window presents a status line and a progress gauge. This is all exceptionally great. You have the right to likewise launch a backup task from the list presented by the "Scheduled Backups" tab. If you carry out so, however, you won"t acquire the formerly described window or the nice progress gauge it includes.A booked backup task have the right to additionally be released instantly, in accordance through the specifications you"ve offered for this purpose. In this case, you"ll view is a small home window allowing you to postpone the launch for a while. The home window identifies which backup task will soon begin. But the window will certainly evaporate in much less than a minute. So, if you take place to be ameans from your computer system or are using a different account, you"ll miss out on it. Ditto the bit balloon which indicates MR has began an (unidentified) backup task.In these last 2 instances, tright here doesn"t seem to be any method to monitor the progression of the backup task. Far as I can tell, you will not also recognize a backup project is running. The only means you can discover out, it appears, is to examine the "Scheduled Backups" list and look for an item that has actually a Status of "Running." If you introduced the task by suggests of the symbol on the "Scheduled Backups" display screen, you won"t even obtain this clue. Fortunately, a right-click neighborhood menu provides the implies to "Cancel a running task" or words to that impact. So, you"re not left completely in the dark.I"d sure prefer to have the ability to monitor the status and progress of these work... especially if MR has introduced a booked job that deals with developing a DR photo file of, say,600 GB. It sure would certainly be nice if you can click something and view the well-conceived window described in the opening paragraph of this message.Oh, one last note. If you carry out cancel a backup project, its standing and/or "last result" will certainly be labeled "Error." Not a particularly specific description,IMO.If I"m mistaken about any of these monitorings or I"ve overlooked anything appropriate, please collection me directly. I"m still fairly new to MR.Marty

Hello Marty, quote:I"d sure choose to be able to monitor the condition and development of these jobs...You can, even if you miss the popup balloon. When Reflect is running a picture, a system tray (bottom right) icon shows up and also stays for the duration of the backup. If you ideal click this and also choose "Show", the progress display screen appears simply as if you had run the backup from reflect itself.quote:If you perform cancel a backup job, its status and/or "last result" will certainly be labeled "Error." Not a specifically exact summary,IMO.The last run area just has actually two states - "it worked" or "it didn"t". If you cancelled the backup, that counts as "it didn"t". You can, yet, find the reason for the backup failing in the log tab, which reflects you the faientice factor. In there, you need to check out "Cancelled by user".Thanks,Antonyvivaworldcup.info vivaworldcup.info

Hi Antony, quote:When Reflect is running a photo, a mechanism tray (bottom right) icon shows up and also stays for the duration of the backup. If you best click this and pick "Show", the progress screen shows up simply as if you had run the backup from reflect itself.Geez, occasionally my powers of observation are truly underwhelming.

That"s EXACTLY what was asking for!quote:The last run area only has 2 says - "it worked" or "it didn"t". If you cancelled the backup, that counts as "it didn"t". Well, that"s how it works currently, but does it constantly need to be so constrained? I realize we"re dealing with binary mechanisms here but really...

quote:You can, however, uncover the factor for the backup failing in the log tab, which mirrors you the failure reason. In tbelow, you must see "Cancelled by user".Yes, I was conscious of that. If memory serves, the message is presented in blazing scarlet. Thanks for your prompt response.Regards,Marty

How execute I solve this so I deserve to inspect the status of backups. We have this software mounted on 5 new makers, and occasionally we acquire the tray icon, sometimes not. Thank you.

Hi,Thanks for posting. The Reflect icon is developed each time a backup is run. The system tray is controlled not by Reflect but by windows and you will certainly should unhide the Reflect icon. Please watch the below Microsoft write-up for more information:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Show-or-hide-icons-in-the-taskbarKind Regards,Martin - vivaworldcup.info vivaworldcup.info

I would really love it if the tray icon could be set to "Show" by default.
