Yep, get a organize of some cables and view if it boots up. Flashing green+ovariety is normal without the video cables.

On the bottom best side, you have the right to view a blown cap and some are bulging at the height. It might be the caps or possibly the power supply if you're receiving no power. However before, I'd begin by replacing those caps consisting of any that are bulging.

My advice:

DEFINITELY replace those capacitors. Several are plainly bulging and therefore incredibly, extremely bad.

Try different AC cables, and ensure they are firmly plugged in to the AC port in the back of the Xbox. It have the right to be a snug fit, so make sure it's actually associated.

Remove and visually examine the power-supply unit. While the v1.6s are not well-known for PSU concerns, it's still possible. Make certain to check the underside of the PSU for any type of cracks in the solder, particularly on the AC power pins.

Visually examine interior power cables for any damage or breaks. This is exceptionally unlikely, however it deserve to occur.

Personally, I'd put my money on those completely blvery own capacitors. Make sure to clean roughly and under them through Q-tips and also rubbing alcohol to rerelocate any kind of corrosion-inducing residue.

Also, just an FYI, you'll see many civilization here (rightly) stressing the importance of rerelocating your clock capacitor prior to it leaks and destroys your motherboard. This does NOT use to v1.6 boards, as they don't have that leaky clock capacitor problem. Naturally, you'll want to rearea any negative capacitor you find on the motherboard--frankly, replacing them all is the ideal option--yet v1.6s don't have actually the exact same worry through the clock capacitors that every other version has.
